Avatar: Is Frontiers of Pandora cooperative multiplayer?

In a surprise gesture, Avatar: Pandora’s Borders was revealed during Ubisoft Forward 2021. While some expected Ubisoft’s Star Wars game Massive to make an appearance, viewers instead witnessed the reveal of a game based on a record breaking 2009 movie. Additionally, there are a few teases that support co-op multiplayer, meaning friends can play together to take out the currently unknown threat.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora co-op multiplayer possibilities

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandaor cooperative multiplayer has yet to be officially confirmed, but there were a few teases spotted in the reveal trailer.

First, there is a shot of several characters flying together in the air. One is the same character featured in the rest of the trailer, while the other only appears in this shot. It is possible that these two characters will be controlled by two different players, which could make hunting in the game more fun.

The game highlights a number of characters who all wear different outfits. While this could mean that the game has character customization, it could also indicate that several different co-op players are coming together.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Snowdrop engine used to create the new Avatar game had previously been used to create several multiplayer games, including The Division series.

With the game just released, it may be a little while before players receive official confirmation as to whether the Avatar 2022 game has multiplayer co-op. Hope this is revealed as soon as possible, so your friends know whether or not they can start planning their Pandora adventures together!

In other video game news, Ubisoft showcased Rainbow Six Extraction gameplay. While Siege was all about competitive PvP, Extraction requires players to work together to destroy the alien enemy.

Elden Ring‘s release date has been announced with a 5-minute gameplay trailer.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is the last big version of the game. Read the GameRevolution review here to find out that it is the “first PS5 game available to all players”.
